RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Date 2025 Postponed, Check Official Notification at rrbcdg.gov.in and Exam New Dates
“Heads up, everyone waiting for the RRB JE CBT 2 exam! The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has just announced a change to the schedule. The exam, originally planned for the Junior Engineer positions and other roles under CEN No. 03/2024, has been postponed.
They haven’t given us the new dates just yet, but the RRB assures us they’ll be posted on their official website as soon as they’re finalized. So, if you’re gearing up for the written exam for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, or the Research Supervisor roles, keep an eye on the official site.
You can find the official postponement notice on the RRB’s website, which is
https://www.rrbcdg.gov.in. They’ve also mentioned a direct link to the notice PDF, so you can easily download it. I’d recommend checking the website regularly for updates. We’ll all just have to wait a little longer for those new dates.”

RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Date 2025
“Alright, everyone who’s applied for the RRB JE and related posts, here’s some important info about your CBT 2 exam:
- Exam City and Date Info: You’ll be able to see your exam city and date, and if you’re an SC/ST candidate, download your travel authority, 10 days before your actual exam date. This will be available on all the regional RRB websites. So, keep an eye on those sites!
- Admit Card Download: Now, for your actual admit card (or e-call letter), you’ll be able to download that 4 days before your exam date. Again, this will be based on the date you see in your exam city and date information.
Basically, you’ll get a heads-up 10 days out, and then your admit card 4 days out. That gives you some time to plan, but make sure you’re regularly checking the official RRB websites so you don’t miss any deadlines.”
There’s a really important step before you can even get into the exam hall: Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication.
Basically, they’ll be checking your identity using your Aadhaar card and your fingerprints at the exam center. So, make absolutely sure you bring your original Aadhaar card with you. If you don’t have the physical card, a printout of your e-verified Aadhaar will also work.
To make things smoother on exam day, the RRB is strongly recommending that you verify your Aadhaar information beforehand. You can do this by logging into your account on
www.rrbapply.gov.in. Getting this done ahead of time will definitely help you get into the exam hall quicker and avoid any last-minute hassles. Don’t leave it to the last minute! Get your Aadhaar sorted!”
